The Charlotte Chorale are presenting a PEACE & LIBERTY concert at 4 pm  this saturday at the First Presbyterian Church 2230 Hariet Street in Port Chrlotte. And it is my pleasure to be narrating the second half of the program introducing such great spirited songs as "This is My Country", "Yankee Doodle Dandy" and so much more.  The condert will also feature young guest singers from Punta Gorda and L.A. As usual, there is a lot going on in Charlotte County every weekend and the weekend of February 25 & 26 is no exception. This is a weekend dedicated to the “WOUNDED WARRIOR PROJECT”. Founders of a local annual fundraiser benefitting the “Project” which seeks public aid for needs of injured service members of the U.S. military have a multitude of fundraisers scheduled for the weekend. Three golf tourneys are scheduled with a Warbird flyover the Rotunda Country Club. In addition, more that 50 vintage aircraft off the WW2 era are scheduled to be on display at the Punta Gorda airport Saturday and Sunday. Rides can be scheduled in some trainers and a B-25.
